Step 2: Get Started on Your Story

Once we've discussed your vision, you'll send us the materials you want to include in your book. For a custom life history, this could be written text or interview recordings. For a heritage album, it’s the research and photos you've gathered. If you're unsure about what to send, don't worry—we'll guide you through it!

If you haven't written or recorded your life history yet, that’s perfectly fine! We provide personalized guidance and support to help you get started. Whether you prefer to write your story or share it through recorded interviews, we’ll assist you in choosing the best approach. Once you have your content ready, we'll be ready to turn it into a beautiful, timeless book.

Step 3: Project Review & Detailed Quote

After reviewing your materials, we’ll evaluate the scope of your project. The number of pages, the amount of content (audio or text), and the quality of the photos will all factor into the time and effort required to create your book. Based on this, we’ll provide a detailed, customized quote so you know exactly what to expect.

Step 4: Collaboration & Editing

Onceall the project details have been figured out, we’ll get to work. For life histories, we’ll transcribe, edit, and organize your content into a cohesive narrative and format the pages of your book. For heritage albums, we’ll layout the story of your ancestors, ensuring each page reflects the beauty and richness of your family’s history.

Throughout the process, we’ll collaborate with you to make sure everything is exactly as you want it. If we need additional information or clarification, we’ll reach out. You’ll have the opportunity to review drafts and make adjustments to ensure your book is just as you want it.

Step 5: Finalizing Your Book

Once we’ve polished the content and layout, we’ll finalize the book and send it to the printer. Your quote will include one physical print copy, and we'll help you order additional copies if needed.
